Before you pick a venue in Wynwood, settle six things: how many guests, your rain plan, how much power your production needs, where the truck loads in, how late the music can run, and who runs the bar. This page is that checklist, in the order you should ask.

In Miami this question isn't optional. There are three possible answers and only one is good: “there's a permanent roof,” “you rent a tent” (add it to the budget and make sure it fits) or “we reschedule” (which isn't a plan). Ask how many square feet are actually covered, not just whether “there's a covered area.” Here it's ~4,000 sq ft of permanent roof.
“Yes, there's power” isn't enough. Your sound and lighting vendor needs the amperage and phase, and if the venue doesn't have enough, you need a generator — which costs money, makes noise and takes up space. Get the numbers in writing before you sign. If a venue can't tell you, nobody has measured it.
The gate width decides whether your production rolls in or gets carried in by hand, and that means hours of load-in and money. Ask for the clear width, whether trucks can drive in, and what time you can start unloading. In Wynwood the street matters too: not every street lets a truck park.
Curfew and decibel limit are two different things, and either one can end your party. Wynwood has residents, so get both in writing and confirm who handles it if a neighbor complains. A venue that isn't clear about this is passing the risk on to you.
There are three models: the venue has a license and sells the drinks, the venue requires you to use its supplier, or you bring your own bar under your own license. Each one changes your budget and margins completely. Ask before you fall in love with a venue, because this is where budgets most often fall apart.
