Club Wynwood rents the Tiki Hut on its own for midday bridal showers and baby showers in Wynwood, Miami: ~4,000 sq ft of continuous thatched roof, open on all four sides, for groups of 50 to 150 guests in the shade with no walls around you and no air conditioning. You bring the decor and the caterer.
The problem with a bridal shower brunch is the time of day
A shower is almost never a night event: it is brunch or lunch, somewhere between eleven and three. That is the worst stretch of sun in the Miami day, which is why the usual answer is a restaurant, and a restaurant handles the sun by shutting thirty people into a room with the air conditioning running. The Tiki Hut does the same job without closing anything: a hipped thatch roof, some 4,000 sq ft of continuous shade, open on all four sides. Air moves, conversation carries, and the photos come out in daylight, not under ceiling lights. The thatch stops sun and vertical rain, but it has no side enclosures: in wind the rain comes in sideways, and a shower outside the dry season should budget for side panels.
What's under the roof: nine posts and turf
The layout works around three things that already exist. The posts: the thatch roof rests on a grid of nine wood posts, about 24 ft apart, and the long table, the dessert table and the photo backdrop go between them, not against a wall. The floor: under the Tiki Hut it is artificial turf; the garden's sand is over on the cabanas' side, not here. And the paved walk between the two rows of palms, a photo backdrop before you build a thing, a four-minute walk from Wynwood Walls. Hanging anything from the structure—arches, garlands, fabric—is assessed at the site visit: every hanging load is reviewed point by point before it is signed off, and no load limit is published because it has not been surveyed yet.
Brunch with no outdoor kitchen, and the mimosa question
There is no kitchen outdoors: the brunch caterer sets up on site, and if they need a kitchen, the building's is an add-on that joins the rental from November 1, 2026. There is no required caterer and no preferred-vendor list, and we take no commission on yours; at a shower, where the bill is usually split between several people, that line moves the total more than the rental rate does. The other question at every shower is the mimosa table. The site holds its own liquor license, with its own license number, and there is an area to set up a bar; the conditions under which alcohol is served at a private event come in writing with the spec sheet, before you sign.
How much of the site you need, and what gets measured at the visit
For a shower the Tiki Hut on its own is usually enough; the ~18,000 sq ft garden joins only if needed. You need it if you want the cabanas: the six furnished cabanas sit in the garden, not under the thatch. They are fixed and come with the property: with the garden in the booking, there is no separate charge.
